Chatham first-year, Jared Nalliah is making his mark on the Chatham squash courts and in the classroom. After growing up in Malaysia, Jared found his way to Chatham through a unique twist of fate—a recommendation from another college’s coach!

Each month, the Holding Space on the Page program—co-facilitated by the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the MFA in Creative Writing program—offers participants a space to read, explore, and reflect on the work of marginalized authors. We caught up with facilitators Hedy Gerace and Laurie Morency to learn more about what’s in store for this month’s Black History and Heritage reading.

Dan Greenawalt ‘23 is deeply immersed in his biochemistry program as president of the Chemistry Club, a tutor and supplemental instructor for entry-level biology and chemistry classes and a researcher for Dr. James Rainbolt. Students in the Immersive Media program collaborated with the Chatham Archives to bring history to life through virtual reality this past semester.
