The Minor Bird has been Chatham’s premier undergraduate literary magazine for 91 years, a publication where students of all majors can submit and publish work. In our latest student organization spotlight, we caught up with co-Editors-in-Chief, Abigail Kneuss and John Mamas to see what is in store for the Spring 2021 term.

Launched in 2019 with the support of the McElhattan Foundation, Chatham’s new Bachelor of Arts in Immersive Media (IMM) program is the first in the world of its kind: an undergraduate degree focused on creating content for augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) that goes beyond gaming, broadly covering other applications as well.

As we head into the heart of winter here at Chatham, you may be asking yourself— what is there to do? In the monthly Social Justice & Sustainability series, Kelly Henderson and panelists ranging from state representatives to local eighth graders explores the intersections of marginalized identities and environmental issues.
