Chatham Assistant Professor of English Carrie Tippen’s interests span literary studies and food studies, an intersection that she explores through the analysis of cookbooks.

Launched in 2019 with the support of the McElhattan Foundation, Chatham’s new Bachelor of Arts in Immersive Media (IMM) program is the first in the world of its kind: an undergraduate degree focused on creating content for augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) that goes beyond gaming, broadly covering other applications as well.
