Presidential Investiture of Dr. Rhonda Phillips

On October 13th 2023, Chatham University invested Dr. Rhonda Phillips with the office of President of Chatham University, making her the 20th president in our University’s over-150 year history.

Dr. Rhonda Phillips officially assumed the responsibilities of President of Chatham University at the investiture ceremony in the Chapel on Shadyside Campus, in the presence of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members. Welcoming the attendees was Jane Coulter Burger ’66 of the Chatham University Board of Trustees, and introducing President Phillips was Chatham University Board of Trustees member Joanne Laipson ’82. The investiture and conferral of the presidential medal was performed by Board of Trustees member Snehal Desai.
