Previewing Chatham’s 2026 Homecoming & Alumni Reunion Weekend
There’s plenty of fun ahead at Chatham University’s Homecoming & Alumni Reunion Weekend this month, including live entertainment, a food truck, a tailgate and volleyball game, and more.
Register now, then read below for a look at what you can expect during Homecoming weekend, which runs from Sept. 25 - 27.
Events for everyone
This year’s Homecoming will have more events that are open to all attendees, whether they’re alumni, students, families, or University staff & faculty. While some events, like the Alumni Bloody Mary & Mimosa Brunch, are aimed at specific groups, much of the weekend’s program is open to everyone.
Enjoy exploring different options at the food truck roundup, or get the party started at Saturday’s Carriage House Carnival.
Friday dinner, Saturday tailgate, Sunday brunch
Some of the biggest events at Homecoming weekend revolve around food and fun, like the Friday dinner at Shadyside Campus. There, guests can enjoy a fun and unique menu and soak up the vibrant campus atmosphere.
On Saturday, you can enjoy lunch and beer outside the Athletic & Fitness Center at the pre-game tailgate before cheering on the women’s volleyball team as they take on Allegheny College.
Or, you can spend Saturday afternoon listening to Ryan Rydzewski, MFACW '15, discuss his book When You Wonder, You’re Learning: The Science of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
Things wrap up Sunday morning with a jazz brunch at Anderson Dining Hall—a perfectly relaxing way to end an exciting weekend.
Meeting up with old friends—and making new ones
As always, there’s plenty of opportunity to link up with old classmates at events like the athletics reunion.
But there’s also chances to meet some new faces at events like the honors program mixer, where alumni and current students get to rub elbows and share stories.
