Lackner Prize — Ashanti Lopez, Psychology ’24

This award is given in honor of Dr. Frank Lackner. The recipient is a student of character who demonstrates excellence both in and out of the classroom, is committed to the study of psychology, and shares Frank’s gift of humor.

Outstanding Community Service Program—Women’s Ice Hockey

The Outstanding Community Service Program Award recognizes the student organization or program which exhibited the most successful service effort during the past year. This organization has incorporated service to the university, and Pittsburgh community.

Big Thinking Award—Laughlin LLC and Class of 2024 CSG

The Big Thinking Award is presented to an organization who exhibits innovative thinking and programming in a particular issue of interest. The organization is selected based on evidence of programming and education of the student body and/or community.

Most Spirited Organization Award—Cougar Council

The Most Spirited Organization Award goes to the organization that best displays school spirit and engagement in improving campus life at Chatham University. The selection is based on the organization’s visibility on campus, their exciting and lively presence at Chatham University events, and their participation in campus and community activities.

Outstanding New Student Organization Award—American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)

The New Student Organization Award recognizes the most successful new student organization formed within the past year. The organization is selected based on their organization’s development, leadership development of members, ability to overcome obstacles, and contribution to university and/or community.
