Chatham jumps in U.S. News Rankings; also recognized for strong social mobility and value

U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 Best College Rankings have selected Chatham once again as a Best College in the Best National Universities category with Chatham’s ranking jumping 15 places above last year’s ranking.

Chatham was also rated as a top performer for Social Mobility, placing in the top 20 across the National Universities category. The social mobility ranking recognizes schools that achieve strong results at advancing social mobility by enrolling and graduating large proportions of Pell Grant students.

In addition to social mobility, Chatham was also named a Best Value school, which is based on a school's academic quality and the cost of attendance for a student who receives the average level of need-based financial aid. For the Best Value ranking, U.S. News says, “the higher the quality of the program and the lower the cost, the better the deal.”
