Nursing event to explore the connection between climate change and health

The Nursing Program at Chatham University is hosting a panel discussion on Tuesday, September 25th that will explore the connection between climate change, sustainability and human health. The panel will include representatives from the City of Pittsburgh, UPMC, Chatham University and the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments who will discuss the innovative solutions that communities, healthcare organizations, professional organizations, and academic institutions are employing to address climate change while promoting health, well-being, and equity.

All nurses in attendance can qualify for one Continuing Education Credit (CEU).

The event will begin at 4 PM with a reception followed by the panel discussion at 5 PM in the Mellon Board Room at Chatham University’s Shadyside campus.
