Pittsburgh Promise Scholars to Receive New Housing Scholarship at Chatham

PITTSBURGH— Beginning in the fall of 2018, Pittsburgh Promise Scholars who attend Chatham University will qualify for a $2,000 housing scholarship as part of the Pittsburgh Promise Preferred College Partners Program.

The $2,000 housing scholarship is good for up to 4-years for full-time, on-campus Promise Scholars who graduated from high school in 2018 or later, and is in addition to their Pittsburgh Promise Scholarship and other merit and need-based aid received from Chatham.

Chatham provides additional support to Pittsburgh Promise Scholars through a dedicated Pittsburgh Promise Admission Liaison assigned to Pittsburgh Promise Students throughout the admissions process. In addition, a Pittsburgh Promise Staff Liaison is assigned to Pittsburgh Promise Scholars and a Promise Night Out is held each semester so that students can come together and meet their fellow scholars. There are currently over 50 Promise Scholars enrolled at Chatham and over 240 Chatham graduates of the program.
