Chatham University is Hosting Music for Food Chatham Music Concert on April 14

PITTSBURGH—  On Saturday, April 14th, at 2:00 p.m. in the James Laughlin Music Hall on Chatham University’s Shadyside campus, Music for Food will be performing.  Music for Food is a musician-led initiative for local hunger relief.  “Our concerts raise resources and awareness in the fight against hunger, empowering all musicians who wish to use their artistry to further social justice.” Chamber music masterpieces, featuring piano trios by Beethoven and Rachmaninoff will be performed by Catherine Cho, violin (The Julliard School faculty); Paul Katz, cello (New England Conservatory faculty); and Pei-Shan Lee, piano (New England Conservatory faculty).

The event is free and open to the public. Cash donations will be accepted to benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.  Contact Pauline Rovkah at rovkah@chatham.edu for more information.
